Transnational Digital Government Project
The Transnational Digital Government Project seeks to combine five advanced information technologies into one integrated system and apply the resulting system to the automation of a public sector function. The government function chosen for the system's pilot application is the control of immigration at remote borders, and the system will be tested in two OAS Member States -- Belize and the Dominican Republic. Once the system has been proven, it can be applied to other government functions (i.e.: health and education) to enhance international cooperation and more effective government in general.
