The OAS Office of Science and Technology (OST), in coordination with the Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología de Chile (CONICYT), facilitates through INFOCYT, the dissemination of scientific and technological information of the region making available to the users, forums, discussion lists, events, publications, scholarships, among others.

RELAQ is a joint effort among the OST of the OAS, the Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología de México (CONACYT), and the Academia Mexicana de Ciencias (AMC). It provides information on Chemistry through several resources, such as directories, databases, etc.

The General Secretariat of the OAS and the Ibero-American Program of Science and Technology for Development (CYTED) have been supporting this network in order to provide the region with reliable indicators for the formulation and instrumentation of science and technology policies

SIM, the regional metrology body of the Americas, is comprised by the national institutes of metrology of the 34 Member States. OAS's support to SIM aims to promote international, particularly Inter-American, and regional cooperation in Metrology, to facilitate the implementation of a global measurement system within the Hemisphere, which is essential for the development of the FTAA.

SIMBIOSIS is one of the systems belonging to the Office of Science and Technology within the OAS. Created under the auspice of the OAS and some of its Member States, this system connects individuals and institutions interested in biotechnology, food technology, and related areas.
