The Workshop on the Popularization of
Science and Technology was organized by
the Office of Science and Technology of the
OAS, the Museu de Astronomia e Ciências
Afins, and the Ministry of Science and
Technology of Brazil. It assembled specialists
and representatives of national science and
technology agencies from 12 countries in the
Americas: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia,
Ecuador, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Peru, the
United States, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
